The homeowner purchased the original home sight unseen based solely off of the beautiful views from the online listing. The home, although recently built, and in good condition, required a massive overhaul including a 2-story 3600 square foot addition and the complete demolition of the original first floor including all walls and roof. King Engineering in collaboration with architect Noel Griffith Jr. & Associates and general contractor Jeffco Construction incorporated dramatic new features into the home including a swim spa and large hot tub in the basement, an elevator, and a 25′ high vaulted ceiling on the main level requiring a structural steel 16″ I-beam moment frame.
